WRITE INCREDIBLY NOW

Handwriting goes from labored to legible in 12 hours!

Dear Parents, Teachers and Administrators of PRE-SCHOOL, ELEMENTARY, and
 MIDDLE SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN:

Children's Special Services ,LLC is happy to announce that we will be offering our specialized handwriting program WIN, Write Incredibly Now, to pre-schoolers.

Groups will have a minimum of four students and a maximum of six.

Our program will target children with weaknesses in paper/pencil skills as related to number production and handwriting as well as associated gross motor (big muscles) skills.  A combination of fine and gross motor activities, postural control and writing techniques will be used to expand and improve your child’s writing and other school skills. The curriculum will be based on occupational therapy treatment principles.

This is a program that you should consider if more than one of the following has been an issue during this school year:

     Difficulty working in groups
     Problems with cutting or writing
     Issues with following directions
Maturity (i.e. on level with peers socially)
Immature gross motor abilities (sitting posture at desk, being able to "stay in the chair", etc.).

This two-week handwriting /school readiness course is dedicated to enhancing your child's skills. Led by a registered and licensed occupational therapist from Children's Special Services, LLC------

Work will focus on:

  1. Developing in-hand manipulation and fine motor skills necessary for pre-handwriting, letter/number formation, and cutting
  2. Enhancing functional pencil grip
  3. Improving shape and letter formation as well as directionality in writing
  4. Develop spacing and line awareness in writing
  5. Develop postural control and stability necessary for handwriting

Call Children's Special Services, LLC @ 770-394-9791 to enroll—space is limited.
