Children's Special Services, LLC is a comprehensive therapy service for children from toddler through teen. CSS uses interactive therapeutic learning experiences that encompass both psychological and physiological development issues. By assessing and treating visual motor, coordination, visual processing, and organizational skills, school and life skills improve. Handwriting deficits are just one specialization. CSS works with both the family and the child. CSS is located in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area (in Atlanta, GA) close to both highways 400 and I-285. All CSS therapists are highly experienced and employed through Advanced Rehabilitation Services, Inc.

Special Services Offered:

   Inservices for faculty on neuro-developmental learning issues
   Presentations to parents on development and learning
   Screening services pre-school–grade 6
   Evaluation of perceptual, motor, cognitive, and sensory functions
   Treatment to remediate developmental concerns
   Consultation with Teachers and Administrators
   Suggestions for classroom/task modifications as needed
   Clinical intervention as necessary (motor, ADHD, visual, etc.)
   Assistance with the selection of supplies and equipment
   Observation in current settings as requested
   Program evaluation (camps, schools, etc.)
   Attendance at IEP meetings as requested

   Social skills groups
   Specialized handwriting groups
   Outdoor sensory adventure groups (emphasis on sensory integrative experiences)

Exit Northridge Drive
Go straight onto Roberts Road (crossing Northridge)
Turn Right onto Spalding Drive
Turn Rigt onto Auden Trail
7501 will be on your right
 
From 85/285 East:
Go to GA 400 and follow the directions above
OR
285 to Chamblee-Dunwoody Road
Take the exit road to Shallowford Road
Turn Right onto Shallowford
Go Straight
Shallowford turns into Chamblee-Dunwoody Road
Turn left after the Publix (that will  keep you on Cham-Dun Road---if you go straight you will be on Roberts Rd.)
Pass the Tennis Courts for Redfield Subdivision
Fork Left
At the stopsign you will be at the corner of Dunwoody Rd and Spalding Dr
Watch for the blinking light and cross onto Auden Trail
7501 will be on your right

Exit onto GA 400 and follow the directions above
